Contract aware production management

The latest installment on the Eclipse Arrowhead Youtube channel showcases how business negotiations, workflow execution support and manufacturing operations can combine to create contract aware automated production management.

This Industry 4.0 use case, set up in the electronics lab at Luleå University of Technology, consists of several software systems and four hardware components, including a Fischerteknik factory. The case highlights Eclipse Arrowhead systems working together in a local cloud and begins with the negotiation between a buyer and a seller and verification of the agreed terms before placing the order and executing the required manufacturing.
